Inter-company mobility plans
Région de Nyon leads the inter-company mobility plans (PMiE).
Launched in 2021, the PMiE program covers six priority areas in the district. Its goal is to coordinate mobility measures at a regional level, create synergies among companies, and provide a platform for exchange between public and private partners.
Today, the program brings together nearly 60 companies, representing more than 7000 jobs, and is carried out with the support of the Canton of Vaud and partner municipalities: Nyon, Eysins, Gland, Rolle, Coppet, Founex, Mies, and Chavannes-de-Bogis. Throughout the year, the Région maintains close contact with partners to ensure the follow-up of measures. It also works with companies that request specific support to design solutions that improve workplace accessibility.
In addition, mobility offers and initiatives are developed in collaboration with the district’s public transport operators to support commuters.

A joint effort
An inter-company mobility plan is a valuable tool for pooling the efforts of several companies located in the same geographical area. This approach increases the potential for action while also generating economies of scale. To support this, the Région regularly organizes meetings between companies to encourage the exchange of experiences and to address specific mobility challenges.
