The Geovelo Grand Genève Challenge returns from May 1 to 31, 2026. The goal: to cycle as many days as possible during the month for a chance to win gift cards, while embracing a more sustainable mode of transportation.
How does the Challenge work? For every day cyclists ride using Geovelo, their ride count will increase by one day. In the event of a tie, the number of kilometers traveled will determine the winners. To register, participants must live in the Grand Genève area and follow these steps:
- 1. Download the Geovelo app
- 2. Create an account
- 3. Join the “Grand Genève” community
- 4. Ride every day with your smartphone and an internet connection
Challenge Prizes
The top 10 performers will receive gift cards from local retailers, with up to CHF/€ 200 for first place:
1st: a CHF/€ 200 gift card
2nd to 5th: a CHF/€ 100 gift card
6th to 10th: a gift card worth CHF/€ 50
Stores will be selected based on the person’s place of residence, using a pre-established list.
